The American Educational Research Association (AERA) partnered with ICPSR to foster secondary data analysis of NSF-funded, investigator-initiated STEM projects that remain rich with opportunities for further discovery through the Education Research Data Sharing Initiative

Child & Family Data Archive

The Child & Family Data Archive hosts datasets about young children, their families and communities, and the programs that serve them.

Research Connections

Research Connections includes many early childhood education resources with information on each of the 50 states. These resources present their data in a wide range of formats, including:

  • interactive on-line tools
  • on-line maps that link to individual state factsheets
  • published series of individual state profiles
  • tables with data for all states included in reports

Depending on the resource, the early care and education topics covered include state early childhood policies, expenditures, program information, demographics, workforce characteristics, and much more.
