5 Database Search Tips

 

  1. Search Both ERIC/Education Source simultaneously
  2. Use the search terms in the database called "Subject Descriptors"
  3. Use the database Thesaurus to help you brainstorm search terms.
  4. Use boolean searching to break up your research question into "chunks"
  5. Limit results to "peer-reiewed" and by publication date (if possible)
