Open Textbooks and Resources for Faculty

A guide to exploring open textbook options as well as other open education resources for GW faculty

Librarians Can Help You Find Course Materials

The GW Library subscribes to thousands of electronic books, journals, streaming video, and other full-text materials that can be used for course materials. GW faculty can contact a librarian for help finding relevant library materials for your needs.

Advanced Search

MOM is the "Google for OERs" because it simultaneously searches across the obvious OER repositories (e.g., MERLOT II, OAOpen.org, OER Commons, OpenStax CNX, etc.) but also sites like HathiTrust (full-view materials only), DPLA, OERs at Internet Archive, and Project Gutenberg.
