Ebooks at GW Libraries

GW Libraries provides you with access to an ever increasing number of scholarly e-books.  
Our e-book collections come from a variety of scholarly providers (see Scholarly E-Books tab).

With so many different publishers comes the challenge of variations in e-book formats and e-book reader/device options.
This guide is designed to help you navigate these confusing options.

E-books come in various file formats (ex: .pdf; .html; epub) and each device that you read e-books on (laptop, e-reader, mobile app) only accepts specific e-book file formats.

The most common solution to this dilemma is to download the free software Adobe Digital Editions.  It is available for both Windows and Mac users.
