Critically Evaluate Resources You Use

Breslauer (2016)* suggests that scholar-practitioners ask these questions when evaluating resources:

  • Who sponsored the research?
  • What is the background of the author?
  • How recent is the piece?
  • Whom does the author cite?
  • Whom does the author fail to cite?
  • Who is the intended audience of the research?
