Google Scholar for GW Scholars

A guide to help GW students search and find academic papers, articles and other scholarly resources--all with the speed of a Google search.

How to Find Full-Text Articles in Google Scholar

Google Scholar searches for scholarly information found all over the web.

But, to get free, full-text copies of journal articles, GW students have two options:

  1.  Access Google Scholar from the GW Library website, via "subject databases."  This will directly link each search result to "Find It @ GWU Library"
  2.  Access Google Scholar from the browser on your computer, then click "Settings" and "Library Links" to link your Google Scholar account with the GWU Library.  The box  to the left lists the steps to follow.

Follow the link, FIND IT at GW Libraries
