TRDA 4595W Paris: Modernism and the Arts, Then and Now: Request Books

This course offers a multi-disciplinary view of the aesthetic movements that changed the course of art and thought in Europe and elsewhere during the first half of the 20th century.

Finding Books

You've got options:

  • Use GW's catalog to locate books.
  • No matter where you are, consult this extensive list of electronic books available through GW.
  • You can also use your local public or academic library. To find print copies of books near you, use Worldcat.org. Search by title or keyword, and enter your zip code to see nearby libraries that own it.
  • You can also use Google Books to find excerpts of many books both in and out of copyright. You won’t have access to the full text of copyrighted books, but it’s possible that you’ll have enough for what you need.

If you’re in Washington D.C., you've got full use of the GW Libraries. Come see me!
