Picking a Topic IS Research

Selecting a Topic is a process, not a one-time event.

When you receive the assignment, you'll select a topic of interest to you within the parameters of that project.  But it doesn't end there!  Next you'll do preliminary research to see what information is available and then you'll adjust your search based on how much -- or how little -- information is available.  You may even find a related topic that interests you more.
