    Location: ALADIN
    Provides detailed marketing, social, and economic statistics. Also available, by clicking o the consukmers tag, are consumer lifestyle reports that discuss, "how and why lifestyles differ from country to country including analysis of household profiles, income, education, eating and drinking habits, shopping habits, leisure and tourism." Access is restricted to George Washington University students, faculty, and staff. Walk-in use by others is not permitted

    Also available at: REF HA 202.(Latest edition in Reference and in Ready Reference; earlier editions in stacks)
    This is a good first place to look for U.S. statistical information. A subject index leads to tables with footnotes indicating the sources of the tables. Published by the U.S. Bureau of the Census.

    Provides a plethora of demographic, social, and economic statistics for the United States, including County Business Patterns (click on Business & Industry).
  • Historical Statistics of the United States: Earliest Times to the Present  
    Also available at: REF HA 202 .H57 2006
  • Lexis/Nexis Statistical  
    Location: ALADIN
    Lexis/Nexis Statistical provides indexing to statistics produced by Federal agencies, states, and intergovernmental organizations. There are tables for some of the statistics. For most, only citations of the documents are given. Many of the documents are easily available online, on paper, or in microfiche.
  • Rand McNally Commercial Atlas and Marketing Guide  
    Location: REF G 1036. R2 (Shelved on Atlas case). Latest edition only retained; next latest at Virginia Campus Library
    Gives business information not usually found in atlases, as well as demographic data.
