One of the best places to identify scholarly books on a topic is in the list of works cited or the bibliography of a book or article. That's why we recommend starting your research with sources like The Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy

Most scholarly books are on the shelves of Gelman Library or in one of the other Consortium Libraries. (How to Request a Book from Another Library).
